Zarnad

I just discovered the Zdetl glossary in Alien Module 4: Zhodani. This has given me great joy, though they could do with some more words and concepts.

I like how they include a couple of tables to create a Zhodani name out of an Anglic one. Mine works out as Klivam Zhdilaqr, or Zhdilaqriepr as an Intendant, right up to Zhdilaqriashav if I ever got that far.

However, what I have seen amuses me somewhat. I can construct a compound word, "Vlezhdzar," to describe the Zhodani's favourite period drama - a story of the early conquest of space.

Also, "Zarnad," for the sort of person prone to wandering.

The former, from two words, "Vlezhd," meaning "star," and "zar," which means, well, "trek."

And since I did not see a Zhodani word for "travel," only "trek," I guess that the prole suffix "-nad" will have to apply, to give us the Zhodani word for "Traveller" - "Zarnad."

Which also means "Trekker," but we don't talk about that round these parts. Frightens the Proles to hear such talk.

I'm certain I should respond to this in some way, but I have no idea how.

I'm almost that the star of this favorite drama is a very logical person with psionic abilities he or she uses wisely to benefit those under them.

After some thought, perhaps the sometime villian of this series is an Imperial cruiser captain who fancies himself quite the womanizer and doesn't like to follow rules.
