everyone is saying that even if the chronos becomes skirmish there are still 3 raid choices, but look at what they are. 1 is the explorer, high damage but weapons are not great, so i'm not interested in taking several of them instead of the current chronos. another is a scout. yeah its a good scout but i dont want more than one, and the chronos has always been a key ship for me, i dont want to have to use several scouts instead, the chronos is better for fighting, yes i'll take a delphi along but for fighting its not as good. And finally the hyperion. how old is that thing? yes it has a beam but the rest of the weapons arent as good, and the chronos minis are cheaper as well! the chronos is the best raid choice for crusade era, which is why i like them so much, and the closest to an equal in the fleet list is the hyperion - which isnt as good. so why, WHY are mongoose taking it down to skirmish??? if there were several similar ability ships i would see your point, but there isnt for the chronos. i much prefer it to all the other raid ships, and probably from any fleet list, so PLEASE DON'T take it down to skirmish. PLEASE!
P.S. i always considered the chronos to be a very balanced ship, and i thought it showed how you had become very good at making ships just right, and now look, your making it skirmish!
