Well if you want to compare that with the CRB then it's only fair to divide the price of the latter by three.

Traveller was the box and the three books inside it, same as D&D was. CRB2e22 is a direct and accurate equivalent to that.

Now, if you want MARKUP, compare 1979 Book 5 with HG2e22...
