So given that the technology had changed relatively little from 1945 to 1950 would this be a viable supplement

One would need to include

North Koreans
South Koreans
US Army
UN Forces
Chinese
Helicopters
Early Jets
M.A.S.H. (Well of course!)

Probably the US list would have to be split into early, middle and late as the equipment changes.

Of course there are a few additional items to include, most obviously the newer aircraft types, recoilless rifles and the new Centurion Tank for the Briitish.

The period has a great deal of change. It would be interesting to see early war US vs late war US...statwise, not the actual fighting :P It would be neat to see the A-1 Skyraider make an appearance in BFE:WaW, BFE:Korea, and BFE:Vietnam...

Well it's known in the UK as the forgotten war, bizarrely the sitcom MASH brought it back to the public conciousness.

It does have the potential for some cracking scenarios, the Imjin river, Chosin Reservoir, Inchon and so on.

Well change is a relative thing, most weapons are simply upgraded WW2 Technology, there are no ATGW or similar yet, and no assault rifles, the North Koreans are an almost carbon copy of late war Russians for the most part.

New equipment sure, but still a lot of very familiar stuff. yes the Skyraider is a nice plane

My father was a Forward Observer for an Artillery Battallion in this war, so yes, I'd have to say I'd be very interested.

Dad says the US leaders that were in place at the time would get very upset if they called it a "war" and strictly enforced the troops to refer to it as a "police action."

As a career Law Enforcement Officer, I find this description of the events there ludicrous in the extreme.

I can honestly say, I've never had any "action" last for 3 years. Nor do I recall the perps firing artillery or having aircraft bomb our "stakeout" positions. :?
