Wilderness Overnight Fatigue Save (from Fiercest)

Don't you think a character should get a +2 bonus (or, at least a +1 bonus) to his Overnight Fatigue save if he has a Travel Cloak or something like the Cimmerian Mantle to cover with, lay on, or roll up and use as a pillow?

I'm looking at pg. 55 of Fiercest.

What about just a bedroll? (No tent or "mound of blankets".)

I'm thinking +2 bonus for Travel Cloak or Mantle.

+4 bonus for bedroll (but you can't combine the two modifiers).

Thoughts?

EDIT: Maybe a +1 for the Travel Cloak and a +2 for the bedroll are better mods. And they can't be combined. It's one or the other.

I think a regular travel cloak will provide a +1 DM to this throw. A bedroll will provide a +2. And, neither bonus can be combined--it's one or the other.

I think the Cimmerian mantle, though, is a superior travel cloak, made specifically for these types of situations, probably waterproofed in some way, and big and thick enough to act as a bedroll. Therefore, the mantle, I'll give a +2 on the throw just like a standard bedroll.

Here's a new question: I like the idea of making the Overnight Fatigue Throw, but I don't want it to be one of those things that bogs down the game--like roll for wandering monsters when the game doesn't need it.

What do you guys think of Taking 10, or Taking 20, even, on these throws?

I'm thinking Taking 10 might be a good option, and if the character doesn't automatically pass the throw with the 10, then you roll it to see what he gets.

Thoughts?

aren't some of those mantles smaller than others? i usually add hoc those situations with around the +2 bonus. i agree with you're logic supp4
