Why do my minis smell?

Hindsight

Mongoose
I bit the bullet and bought a White Star Carrier.

Whenever I open a new mini... it just... smells.

Why does it smell... it smells like dog poop... or something worse.

Whats the deal?

mabe they secretly dont like you. Or they like you a lot, and they just dont know how best to show you they like you.

or mabe its lord Nurgle's secret plan to take over the universe, by first poisoning gamers with his evil rot. First the gamers, then the world, muhahahahahaha..... and so forth.

or mabe the white star carrier had an "accident" during its shelf life.

or mabe you just need to stop smelling your models. I cant help you there becaus as i mentioned before, after i seal my models, they smell like vanilla and i just cant get enough of a vanilla smelling demos.

hope this helps...but probably not.

I had to stand on my head to get the full meaning of what you said, but I did, and it stuck, so I thank you. *sniffs some dog poop scented White Star with a hint of Super Glue*

Good times.

Hindsight, mostly you have been buying ISA - right, (maybe with a couple of narn thrown into the mix), and you say when you open the packets the minis smell.

My diagnosis - I definitely see a pattern here - ISA leads to smell, a well known problem with ISA, (particularly noted with the Carrier and the Gunship minis) and your situation is most definitely not helped with a couple of Narn thrown in -

The Cure - Time to move to a race that look after their body & ship odour.

Time to join the victorious Centauri.

Possibly right Foxmeister, but one thing is for sure their minis don't smell,

(cough! Adira, cough! cough!, Liati [coughing fit] 8) )

what you smell, is the distinct smell of any Whitestar ship and varient, it is of course more well known to conesieurs of runny cow derivativs, it is of course camembert!

I think you have mad whitestar disease you should have them all melted down just to be sure.

Edit : and don't forget to chop your hands off.

Serious answer, fah! What does serious have to do with it? He's an ISA player, all their models smell of bovine excrement, every Centauri knows this.

He should buy sweet-smelling Centauri models and join the glorious Republic as we take back the stars.

When shipped without the proper wax coating and refrigerated properly the ISA models begin to smell. This is only compunded depending on the ship type purchased.

I bought some White Stars a couple of weeks ago, and left them in their packaging on my desk. When I got round to unpacking them a few days back, they absolutely reeked of rotten meat.

Oh hang on, they were supermarket chickens - still, easy mistake to make! :)

Regards,

Dave

lmao, You should kill it before it evolves language skills ;)

Lord David the Denied - I would have said that you were sniping there but then thats only a tactic the ISA would abuse.

Long Live the Republic

Quite right, my good and dear friend. The ISA will come to see our greatness as we stretch forth our hands and command the stars once again.

I would read this just after buying a WS Carrier from the states. I can only hope that the smell matures enough to fend off the customs lackeys...
