white star gunship

i just bought i white star gunship for my isa fleet, but can anyone tell me where the what seems like an extra v shaped wing goes, i think it looks like it goes behind the bridge as there is a small indent there, but cant seem to find this on any pics?

You might need to spread the wings a bit to make it fit.

The Gunship comes in 3 parts:
- The main body
- The bridge section with 2 prongs facing backwards
- A boomerang-shape that goes underneath

No. The gunship model will be the gunship.

There was some suggestion a while ago that there would be a new smaller cast for the White Star itself, but I haven't heard any mention of that in a while.

just re-read the S&P preview and it says the WS gunship replaces the WSC-2, i must have thought they meant the mini was changing rather than the WSC-2 going. but it was a while back i read the thing so thats my excuse.

The gunship replaces the WSC-2 at battle level.

The Whitestar II is now a variant of the WS.

I would like the white star reduced in size abit.

I understand that there are ships without miniatures and casts that need fixing - and that these should be done first , but I'd also like a whitestar size reduction on mongooses' 'to do' list. It would be nice for all the ships to look as if they are in scale with one another and the whitestar is a bit to big IMHO.

Even if Mongoose do put out a new smaller size mini for the WS, people will still be playing with the egacy 'full size' ones apart from the newest of players, so I think putting out a new mini for the WS that would, I think, make it the only ship with 3 different sizes of mini in the game, would be a little sily. (I'm not counting the Troligan, they changed the design not the size recently)

I don't think they need a new white star. the scale for it isn't perfect, but I don't think its terrible (unlike the olympus!)

There are a number of older ships that are getting redone, Armageddon ships still unreleased, and a whole host of new ships for 2e. Mongoose's sculptors are going to be busy for a while.

Breaching pod minis should follow the release of 2e.

Don't expect starbases for a while.

While I'm not sure if it is a good idea or not, the main "pros" for redoing the WS mini would be that it is a very visible representative canon vessel, and most I've seen have some mold damage along one side that makes them resemble the batman villain two-face...

But if the simple solution of fixed molds do the job, all the better.
