Precisely. If we end up attacking ourself, the other player takes one fleet (owner's choice). If we waltz in on a resource unopposed, we roll some random opposition up (which is how come the Minbari are currently fighting my Abbai). It's a compressed playtest idea, gets as many different fleets active at once, while still maintaining the consistancy of a campaign.

My second choice would be a carrier-based EA, for those fighters look just fine. But I never played it. Just an aesthetical choice...

I used to favour Earthforce, but recently have defected to the Brakiri. Their ships just look great. And they're my best painted. Which doesn't say much :wink:

Oh, and when I want something I don't have to think too much about, I play Centauri. Lastnight I played Centauri vs. EA. 5 raid CTA.

Turn 3 - Chonos 2, Hyperion, and Hermes Die
Turn 4 - EA conceeds.

Centauri loses - 1/2 damaged Prefect, 1/2 Damaged Dargan

Interesting note - 2 fire opportunities with Sullust's beam - needing 4s - no hits.

My favorite fluff and design wise is def. the Minbari. I'm not as big a fan of them gameplay wise because of the all-or-nothing stealth mechanic, though it's better after Armageddon. My second favorite is Narn, then Centauri or mixed LONAW, but I enjoy pretty much all fleets. I like playing ISA with the extra Victory-based ships I'm working on, but not their 'official' fleet list since I despise the new White Star classes and the old SFOS list doesn't have enough variety.
