Return has more stuff on Black Kingdoms. I don't remember how big of a book the original Road is - gut feeling tells that Return has ~50ish more pages. Return has no game mechanics whatsoever too. RttRK would work fine as the setting book for playing Hyborian campaign wih any system.
If you have the original Road, I don't know if Return is worth buying unless you are especially interested in the "new" areas it describes. Too bad the maps are still substandard or nonexistent.
