WHATS HAPPENING TO MY GAME????

Wow...look at the differences in scale there...

Oh, wait, they've had those since when? At least a year now, right? It's nice they got the master model of the skyhook painted, and the prototype for the slingshot painted, but they were promising that stuff would be out two years ago at least.....

I thought that the Forth Spider, even the painted one had been shown before... But yes, thats there too...

And to have the Skyhook there, painted and ready pretty much guarantees a Very early release once the 1st wave of the SST:Evo models has come out, Just like Matt has promised...

It will come early - however, expect to see the Slingshot or TAC Fighter first, alongside the Skinnie Starlight Skimmer and Forth Altos Gunship. . .

Did you expect in-scale flyers? I didn't. Especially after Matt noted that (atleast some) BF:evo flyers will be limited period release due to size...

Aircraft are so integral part of MI that better to have smaller than should flyer models so they won't be too expensive for continuing production...

True, Matt, true...

Tneva, no I didn't, but when your slingshot is THAT large? That's the huge one they make to get the details down... or so I believe.

The Skyhook and TAC Fighter are pretty close to scale - the Slingshot had to be reduced a little, as it really is MASSIVE!

Able to transport alot of people.... or at least that's what I remember from the animated series...with rooms where the turret controls were located, plus a rear hatch, a cargo hatch (remember the baby plasmabug drop?), two side hatches with extending ramps.....

It was down right spacious!

Ohhh...Happiness is a warm jet-engine... Finally something to put the hurt into MI airsuperiority! Hah!

Though I would assume the Fleet will always own the skies... but a little competition never hurt... or... well... It Will really hurt...

Forth air support sounds interesting! Thats the first new bit of news we've had for a while :D

Are we still going to be getting two of the air craft to a box or is that being scrapped due to them being pre-assembled? Or will they be part assembled and have clip on wings or something like that?

Wasn't forth gunship listed in forth release list before evo was launched or am I just hallucinoging things? Could have swore mention of forth gunship there...

Probably was, but it was delayed for the Evolution rerelease. Most likely they hadn't finished the design or even started production.

Likely one (though the Starlight Skimmers may have two in a box), but we are looking at including various clip on options to relfect the bomb/missile load outs of various configurations.

Basically, if you want four Scatter Bombs on a Slingshot, say, you will actually see them on the model (and can remove them when you use them).

Having toy flash backs of starwars figures with no guns and transformers with no missiles... hopefully I can manage to keep hold of those sort of things now Im a little older :D

Will it still be around $39.95 as was originally planned durring the poll ( http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=15753 ) or will the prepaint process raise the price a little?
