This does not suprise me dudes.....I have a way with the ladies.

Ok Dudes-in-training. I'm going to consider this poll finished at 8pm (GMT) on Sunday (tomorrow).

So if you want to cast your final votes - stop dithering and act. It is action and not deliberation that yields cred (and skirt).

And thats your first lesson.

I'll tell you dudes - you're ok. Stick with me and we'll have skirt eating outa your hands.

Chief Dude.

I have not played an RPG for quite a while. Since I was a Chaosium-phile I am excited about the reincarnation of Runequest, But I am concerned that it may be considered "uncool" by the population in general. I have my street cred to consider.

Don't worry about it, anyone who has to post on a forum asking if they will get cred by playing a game has NO cred to begin with.

So you might as well play. :)

Dude (chuckles)...DUDE!!.........MY cred is now beyond being influenced by external circumstances. It is as truestone. I am here to help. This poll was really about getting you guys to shift from nerd-hood to dude-hood. You're on your way - all of you. Keep it up. I'm a living example of what levels of Dudeness are possible. You can turn anything into something that increases your cool-factor. Its all about reframing your concept of it. Through me Runequest has become the KEY TO COOOL.

I propose we set up an Ask Burdock! column, where we - a band of desperate nerds - can all get advice on how to score The Hotness and improve our lives generally.

Dear Burdock,

My name is Aaron. I collect mugs and play my Xbox for at least 5 hours a week, sometimes more. Occasionally I actually talk about Star Wars. Worse than that, sometimes I pretend to be an elf (or I would if my bastard players would ever let me do anything but GM).

How can I improve my life? Should I buy more limited edition clone trooper mugs?

Thanks in advance for your life-saving tips.

Sincerely,

Aaron Dembski-Bowden

Only if you name the thread 'Ask the Poser' :)

Jealousy is so ugly.

Just admit that like me you need his advice because you've not felt the love of a good woman in your entire life. Admitting we have a problem is the first step to the cure.

And Burdock's lore is that cure.

LOL, don't go looking for self-improvement in someone else. It's only found within.

Yeah, but that can get messy and I wouldn't want to try it without a good local anesthetic on hand.

Something about this guy reminds me of Maddox... and yet I fear if one met t'other Maddox would be doing some serious Flaming Pirate Punching.

Homer......its because deep down you wanna be cool too.

Watch this space everyone. Some important info and tips coming up soon
