Glass counting beads, poker chips (or the colored bingo chips) etc. I purchased the Litko marker set for Savage Worlds... they were not as advertised. They provide sites selling them with a picture of the laser etched words colored in w/white crayon - but you're allowed to think they come filled in. Then their customer service manager claimed "I looked at that site, its a picture they took themselves not our responsibility"... turns out the Litko page for the tokens has all this info on coloring them in etc.. and that same picture. When I called them on lying, false information and I was going to start posting this on forums - well they shipped me a free set precolored in, and with the crappiest white crayon ever (I used Crayola - they used something that was more grey).billclo said:McKinstry said:I also use a small yellow arrow markers that say Activate to indicate ships that have moved or fired and a red target reticule to keep track of what ships have had drones fired at them.
I looked at Litko's markers. Wow, nice but expensive. Especially when you want 75 markers to indicate how many ships have attacked a given target with drones. (8 sets @ $6.99).
Anyone make similar markers, maybe out of a less expensive material or something? I looked around on Google, and didn't find any small volume custom makers.
I have a company, http://www.dapperdevil.com - met them at OrcCon in LA in Feb. Great stuff I don't remember if they do custom. They DO fill the etching with white paint... not crayon but *paint*. They have a huge selection.
I think this is the option I may go with. Thanks, Tony.scoutdad said:Bill:
Get an Ammo Sheet from ADB. It comes with scads of drone counters in all the correct colors. We just drop a drone counter on the base of hte ship targeted and when it gets three markers - no one else can target it.
Quick, simple, and inexpensive.
