What happened to 2011 Citi-Def (GenCon)?

Back at Gencon 2011, Citi-Def models were shown and available to purchase, but as far as I can tell there were never released to the general public. Anyone know what happened to them?

Wow, they are nice. I'd definitely prefer them to the set that was created out of the Kickstarter. Can we buy 'em....pretty please?

If they still own the molds, it'd be good to see these and the GOMC1 Citi-Def be re-released as either "classic" models or as Apocalypse War Resistance models.
