thats cool, but i know mr stone has a sence of humour so just pulling each others leg and a few others, no harm is meant its just good humour.

No, I certainly don't cheer for the French. I do intend to retire there however, and I have a high regard for their ability to do what *they* want, not what they are told. The offending post has been removed, which went over the line.

Leg pulling is just fine. I do it more than anybody I've ever met, as LBH and Low Roller can testify. Sometimes I have my chief mod hat on though, and of late I've been getting less tolerant of some of the things going on around here. Think of me as the cuddly old uncle who occasionally stamped on your head and turned it into Swiss cheese. :wink:

also laying into LBH should realy be a national passtime for all nations.. maybe we should have an international, pull LBH leg day,week, month,year, decade, centurty

This isn't an argument or a discussion. I crack down where necessary. It's not often but I don't look to anybody for approval when I do. The post I removed went over the line and if I had been French it would have made me pretty angry. And if you don't understand how racism works these days you need to get out more.

Yes I won't be taking the French. Actually, I won't be buying EFTF at all.

I'll probably buy the Germans from the EFTF, buy the USMC untill the USArmy comes out, and for demo purposes, MEA.

But that's pretty much it.

I can't recommend the Germans in BF Evo. I've uses them 3 or 4 times and they have the magical ability to only roll 1 on a d10. Actually the same thing goes for VaS as well. I keep getting beat up by Nick the Greek. The Leopard 2 does look cool though and if memory serves me right the German infantry will get the RGW-60 panzerfaust, which makes them a really attractive infantry choice for EFTF players.

The fact they come with anti-tank stuff is pretty much the reason (apart from a few other things) why I'm getting them instead of British squaddies or French Foreign Legion.

It'll be the same for me. My Brits will carry the load until the Germans show up and then I'm building my own panzergruppe.

I think as Wave release continue the MEA are going to get increasingly popular. they are huge fun to play and for me are the sort of army you'll like if you are one of those guys always looking to come up with a brilliant new scheme to beat the enemy. I can't help thinking they are a bit like an arabic A Team as well, especially with Technicals whizzing around everywhere. Plus I just love the Tunguska. Adrian spent a long time doing the schematics and it's pleasing to see how well the manufacturing process has gone.

It only fires once per turn, mainly because in test games I was winning battles in about two rounds! Makes choppers think twice about flying around willy-nilly as well. Not much can react to a fast moving aircraft, but the Tunguska can fire missiles and cannons in the same round. Which is nice.
