Ah, a United Europe. Much more possible, than the GLA; I mean, MEC… err... MEA! And French Military should be introduced to the European side. They need to stop being generic and allow the British to represent all of Europe. Le France needs to represented as well!

As for me, I’m going for the underdogs. Despite the fact that the laser-dazzler system on the Type-99 isn’t even mentioned. And why must all Islamic/ Mid East fighters be seen as a unified force in the face of the West, when they aren’t? Iran just by itself as an emerging world power would have been fine. Red Chinese are commies? Somebody sucks as at world politics; commies can’t be capitalists.. PLA FTW!
And maybe some jarheads too, need something to crush. Maybe a MEA army in the future, might customize it into the GLA with a Toxin Tractor... KEKEKE...

Actually, I was hoping for a scenario where the French pretends they surrender and then they invade in the UK, despite the fact that they are on the same side.

i think in the modern theater the french forces would actualy be quite effective on paper, although not the greatest combat exsperiance, their specail forces are pretty damn good.
also i think their vehicles should be very good at running the english over, last time i was over their i nearly got run over loads !!!! they either dont have breaks or knew i was english !!! lol

You know what's strange? I went back through the posts and I mostly found anti-American comments yet no one seems as quick to jump on that. I even wrote a post mentioning how crap that was and strangely the entire thread got deleted. Aren't non-European countries privy to this special protection? Like I said in the deleted thread either everyone is fair game or no one is. And if no one is then it has to extend to all countries not just the ones that someone at Mongoose likes.

It's hardly unusual for british and french to take the proverbial out of each other and calling it racist smacks to me of political correctness gone nuts.
Its a far cry from hating somoene just because you make a harmless joke at their expense. I dont think anyone here (at least I hope not) REALLY thinks the french military is rubish and surrenders at the first shot but it's still something of a traditional joke in the UK. I'm sure the French have just as many 'hilarious' jokes about the English.
I myself am Canadian and have heard just about every joke about Canada there is over the years and d'you know what? I couldn't care less. Nor is it in anyway racist. Prejudiced perhaps but not in a genuinely malicious way. France and England's rivalry is just tradion more than anything else

No, I certainly don't cheer for the French. I do intend to retire there however, and I have a high regard for their ability to do what *they* want, not what they are told. The offending post has been removed, which went over the line.
Leg pulling is just fine. I do it more than anybody I've ever met, as LBH and Low Roller can testify. Sometimes I have my chief mod hat on though, and of late I've been getting less tolerant of some of the things going on around here. Think of me as the cuddly old uncle who occasionally stamped on your head and turned it into Swiss cheese. :wink:
