Couldn't find the message function so I thought I'd let you all know this way. The pdf of the rules from the mongoose website contains a tiny error inthat it lists the combat droid as not being hireable (if that's a word) by any faction. The one from www.wargamevault.com is up to date. The one from the webiste has the date 030512 in the title so is probably the previous version.
