I'm a huge fan of cross overs, i would love to see the Battlestar Galatica, B5 Cross over.

Imagine the tech improvements the Battlestar could see, Incorporating EA technology into their ship.

And i could imagine the Cylons given even the Minbari and Centauri a run for their money.

Would be a cool idea, a BSG Crossover, but the Cylons have a huge advantage as IMO many if not all races of the B5 Universe use networked computers. On the other hand the basestars might be largely outmatched by B5 warships without using thermonuclear missiles

Well for the Narn to have first contact with Earth then they would have to have either not be conquered by the Centauri or have thrown off the Centauri yoke earlier than actually occurred since the Centauri contacted Earth in the 2160's a good fifty odd years before the earliest possible date we have for Narn independence...

I actually have those space battle movies on my computer still. Some of the music choices for them were brilliant.

what if the centuari had enslaved earth instead of trying to trick them by claiming earth was a centuari colony? wonder how that would have turned out. Although, it woudl mean no valen, i think, or woudl it? the problem there is taht the past and future are entirwined. forvalen to exisit, you need bablyon 4 to exisit, adn Sinclair to exisit.

That isn't necessarily a problem though is it? An alternate universe might well contain Sinclair - he might not even be human. Even B4 isn't a problem - I'm sure a Centauri station might serve equally well.

Perhaps Valen doesn't need to exist - maybe the other first ones intervened in the first Shadow War?

The possibilities are endless. You can shape your alternate universe of "today" by changing what happened in its past.

Indeed, IIRC they said the Shadows were only defeated by the Minbari with the direct assistance of the Vorlons and the remaining First Ones in the war.

Maybe in this timeline many more of the First Ones remained in the galaxy after the Great Shadow War. Perhaps some of them sided with the Shadows? Perhaps the Shadows weren't defeated and it was the Vorlons who "slept"?

The point is that if you are rewriting the known history of the B5 universe, you can do whatever you want with it.

I agree but.........

I love the diea of the ancient Minbari getting a Centauri station with all its Luxiuries and corrupting influences. Lots of booze and "other" thing s for the tired and stressed out warrior class to indulge in. They may have turned out very different indeed Or more likely the Vorlons sanatised the station.

going way of track a Orieni station and saviour would be interesting - could result in the Centauri-Minbari war..............

The Cylons attack the Centauri. The Centauri are all but obliterated. A small fleet of Centauri ships seeks out a lost colony called Earth.

Me, I want to see a B5/Discworld crossover. Partly to see what happens when Morden asks Vetinari what he wants. Partly to see Garibaldi and Vimes comparing notes on how to fight crime. But mainly to see Ivanova's face when, on a routine patrol with a squadron of Starfuries, she's first to see a flat world riding on the backs of four elephants which in turn stand on a giant turtle. As for a space battle, enemy laser bolts strike the Disc's standing magical field and are slowed to a crawl, caught by wizards with buckets, and tipped over the side. And then Great A'Tuin eats the attacking spacecraft. :lol:

Half way back to sanity, we pause to observe probably the ultimate B5/Star Trek crossover - Star Wreck: In The Pirkinning.
