Vorlons and the Brakiri

Does anyone happen to know the name of the deity the Vorlons appear to the Brakiri as? Or, if it's not recorded in canon anywhere, anyone have any recommendations?

There is a season 2 or 3 episode that may tell you. You know where the centuari leave the bomb on that elevator/metro thing and Sheridan jumps out to be saved by Kosh, where he is scene as an angel of each different species by each ambasador/onlloker, that may tell you.

I know the episode, but I don't think Brakiri were among the species who voiced their view. (Minbari and Drazi, yes) I'll check it again to be sure though.

Just in case it's not there, anyone know if it's mentioned anywhere else? Darkness and Light, for instance? (which I don't own, sadly)

I dont know for definite myself, but since I am the only one around at the moment, I'd bet my money on that nugget of information in being in darkness and light.

I guess I asked for that.

Still don't know the name of Mr. Brakiri God...looks like it was Minbari, Narn and Drazi in that episode.

If it's not listed anywhere, what's a good Brakiri sounding name?

Bri...uh...something? Brak...? Ideas anyone? Something more original?

Fair enough.

Let's see: G'lan (I think), Valeria and Droshala. So "lon" "lan" or "la" seems common so...

Brakilan. Briala. Brakanla. I'm just throwing out syllables at this point, anyone's welcome to offer thoughts on this.

Unless .... the Brakiri are touched by the Shadows. The chaotic governmental system could indicate that the Shadows, rather than the Vorlons, are the First One race guiding them. At the start of the 2260 Shadow War, the Brakiri allied with the Shadows briefly before joining Sheriden.

If they were a race touched by the Shadows, they would have seen nothing.

Yet we see the Shadows cutting Brakiri ships into bite-sized pieces. Which doesn't look very touched by the Shadows, other than touched by their beams. :)

I just ran a quick skim over the Brakiri section in the LNAW fact book 1E, no obvious mention of religion or names for their gods...

Personally, my impression is that the Vorlons were pretty thorough. At a guess, they only missed the Gaim, and only because the little bugs jumped into space so darn unexpectedly. At least of the known races that move openly in the galaxy.

I had always assumed Londo saw nothing not because the Centauri were overlooked by the Vorlons but because he personally had been touched by the Shadows.
