Have all the army books... adapted my growlers to SST, vs. MI. Thinking of using them as a indigenous life on skinnie world, or a MI planet. They could be dangerous to bothsides.

I love the growler models, where can I get them from, or is it only going to be eBay? I'd do exactly what you have done, to be honest.

Ral Partha Europe Stock them, and they don't charge the earth for P&P either.

I would REALLY like to see the SST Growler list!

Ya there giving out stink about the costs of going back to school on the radio over here. The whole buying books and some never being used, and the small percentage of book rentals. Crazy. I got an expensive engineering book for college, and it was never used for two years in a row. Bullsmurf!

Budget is important when collecting miniatures, it gives you a feeling of control and satisfaction.

We all fall into the trap of just buying what we fancy, but that can be a bad thing I reckon.

Leaving you with piles of unrelated miniatures, or so many you don't know where to start!

By the way Lt Rasczak visited your VOR site, very nice and thank you for the link to Iron Winds Metals here in USA!!!

I am currently working up a bunch of Union Troopers from VOR as an alternative to LAMI I think they make very nice proxies for LAMI. Using some of the Neo-Soviet Officers in Greatcoats as SICON officers.

Have Multiple copies of each rulebook as well as four still factory shrink wrapped boxed sets.

Just gave away three box sets a couple of weeks ago to some friends.

Growlers are simply such wondreful monstrous figures. :!: :!: :!: :!:

Keep up the good work!!

I always hated that FASA quit when VOR was just really starting to go good here in my local area. They basically killed it overnight.

Thanks Dude, its going to have a big re-vamp soon. Its name is changing to the "Roughnecks Maelstrom" to encompass VOR & SST (and some more bits Lol).

VOR is my all time fave skirmish game!

Hopefully you can put up picks of your armies.

There are some pics of my Shard in the Gallery - but I had to take them on my Phone as my £300 Digital Camera decided to die 2 months after the Guarantee ran out.

I'm saving up for another, but things keep getting in the way. SST miniatures and the like ;)

For those of you interested:

Vor The Maelstrom Box Set for $19.95. Mint, still wrapped.

The rulebook (again, mint) is $9.95.

NobleKnight.com

If you already have it, point a new recruit to that sale, and get a game going. And someone start coordinating a new petition, ask Mike Noe if he'll be so kind as to forward it to Skuzzy when it's filled - if the game is going to come back, it's got to involve Iron Wind Metals and Mike Nielsen. They have to know the fan base is still out there.

Actually, LT, what would be a good way for fans to help stage a come back?

If it worked for Family guy, then....

I've often thought of this, the first thing we need to do is get a hold of Skuzzy and see what the state of play is.

The problem is, the Email address I had for him no longer works and no one seems to know whats going on.
