Victory Points for Fighters

Ah hah!! I found it where it references that fighters are worth 1 vp each!

It's an off-handed comment in clarifying shadow fighters. Page 90 under the scenario's section.

'Destroyed Shadow Fighters give victory points as normal, (one point per flight.)'

This would seem to indicate that all fighters give 1vp per kill.

Yup, they are indeed worth 1 point each.

And, if they're withdrawing from the field, you get 1VP for every 4 flights (or part thereof) of auxiliary craft making tactical withdrawals.

I knew how that worked, but there was a question exactly where, and in which book it stated that rule.

Isn't that purely for that scenario rather than a general rule ?

The 1 VP per flight thing is only from the tournament rules and doesn't apply normally. I think you only get VPs for killing independant wings.
