Using Robotech/Macross ships for Drakh Fleet

Hello All.

I was wondering your input, ideas or critiques for a Zentradi Fleet using the Drakh rules. I thought of the idea while I had some of the old Zantradi ships back from my collection and thought it would be cool to use them in ACTA.

I was considering the following ships for the conversions.

Zentran Battleship = Drakh Mothership
Zentran Cruiser = Drakh Cruiser
Zentran Carrier = Drakh Carrier
Zentran Scout = Drakh Scout
Zentran Female Power Armor = Light Raider (anti fighter mechs)
Zentran Male Power Armor = Heavy Raider (Anti ship Mechs)

Where in good gravys name did you get Zentradi minis? These are something that I have been looking for since Macross II came out!

not to hijack, but I've heard they're working on a live-action Robotech Movie. Seems "Transformers" got Hollywood wrapped up in mecha-goodness. I understand that Toby Maguire (aka Spiderman!) has been cast, but I'm not sure if its official who he's playing, but I'm assuming Rick Hunter.

Wow, looks quite nice with the minis and i think I somewhat agree with the comparisons with the Drakh ships though I do think that Zentraedi ships are much larger in actual size.

look on ebay for Arii macross/robotech models. Usually they popup and they are plastic just the problem is they are sometimes expensive.

I've bid on a 1/5000 scale SDF-1, Hopefully i will win it, this will make a nice command ship for my EA crusade fleet.
