US Tournaments? US exposure?

I'm completely new to how miniature games work with relation to tournaments and promotion of a product. So, please excuse any ignorance on my part.

Will there be tournaments held in the US as well? Do you have plans on attending any US conventions to get your models sold? Have you set up any partnerships with different game stores in the US? Can we, as players, setup our own tournaments or show off the game at conventions here, pending convention approval of course? I know you all are selling to Paizo, maybe I should as them about tournaments they might be getting into...

In any case, I will definitely be looking for any other fans of this game in and around Houston, TX. I've gotten some of my friends involved already and I purchased the Megadeal so we can all play a campaign together. So, hopefully once I hook them we can branch out to the gaming stores in our area.

Anyway, thanks for an amazing game in any case :)

I will be running Demo's at Dragon Con in Atlanta, Georgia first weekend of September. If ready by June I will also be running demo's at a local con in Jacksonville, Florida.

There will be tournaments in the US - as someone has already posted, there will also be demo games at Dragon Con, and also at Gen Con.

And yes, you are welcome to set up your own tournaments. We have posted the tournament pack (Noble Duel) that we are using here in the UK on the Noble Armada page, and you are welcome to use that as a base for your own events.

If you let us know about any events you set up in advance, we will advertise them in Signs & Portents!

Well that's excellent news all around! Now to see if anyone else is running anything in Houston.

I'm definitely going to try to get to DragonCon this year then. I've been wanting to go, but work is always a PITA at that time.

Still think you'll be running demos? I've got a few fleets painted and my girlfriend and I would love to catch a few games :) I'll be bringing my mini's just in case, anyway.

I'll be running demo's in and around the oklahoma area at the conventions listed below...

And I look forward to meeting you at the Con.

Sorry I didn't get to make the demo that morning. I was really looking forward to it, but the Con got the better of me as it was my first time there. Dragon*Con is the best convention I've ever been to hands down. I seriously can't wait for next year.

Anyway, I hope it went well.

Yes I understand there's alot to see. Maybe next year. For the demo The the only Issue I see is the sheets for the ships are definitly needed unless some one cranks out a nice one in word or something which is most likely what I will do. Because its a draw back when trying to teach new people and run the games.
