The British Walker Compendium II: Roundhead is your comprehensive guide to using the British superscience walker Cavalier in Battlefield Evolution World at War: Gear Krieg.

The British Walker Compendium II: Roundhead takes a detailed look at the many types of this superscience walker for your British and Commonwealth forces from all theatres and periods of World War II! Each vehicle is detailed with back-ground information, factory variants, field modifications and a modelling guide.
Included are the Roundhead Mk I to V and I-AA; even the rare Roundhead Mk I Command is included.

The book also pro-vides new Traits, an AFV force list and an extended British armoury to add to your games of World at War: Gear Krieg.

All units in this book are designed by the same principles as the existing vehicles in the Battlefield Evolution: World at War and Battlefield Evolution: Pacific War rulebook also written by Agis Neugebauer.

This book requires the use of Battlefield Evolution: World at War, available from Mongoose Publishing.

That investigator looks and awful lot like tin tin...

WHAT? How can this be...
8) Even the write up can be understood as if Tintin is described...

One of the good thing of pdf books is the possibility to update files.

At the time I wrote the Banzai book there were no suitable American 15mm Zombie miniatures around, that changed when Rebel Minis brought out their WW II US Zombies. Enough reason for me to get 50 of them, let them paint by Modartis Limited (http://www.reinforcementsbypost.com) as USMC and take some suitable pics to update the Banzai file!

All who has already bought the book should have received their update note by now.

Have fun and may your dice roll high!

Besides the Back of Beyond book I am also busy with the next Gear Krieg book...

The Walküre Walker Compendium will be out next, so time for some more previews...
DAK_Army_1.jpg

3 Walküre walkers, lots of Peter Pig infantry and some PP tanks.
The Infantry is painted by me and the very good Motardis Limited (Reinforcements by posts) painting service - I like these guys!
If you can spot the 2 infantry bases painted by me, you have VERY keen eyes...

I also finished two infantry stands of the very nice and Gear Krieg fitting German Supersoldiers by Eureka! I must have for every 15mm weird war gamer...

German Supersoldiers by Eureka minis, Panther by Peter Pig, Thor walker by DP9s Gear Krieg range

Supersystem is producing a nice range of 15mm Supers. (you can get them via Old Glory)
One of them can be painted as the good Captain! I used some 6mm US aircraft transfers for the stars, the "A" on Steve forehead is freehand painted, the base is King&Kerr.

Just to show how tiny the mini is, the Captain together with some Gear Krieg US walkers.

BTW: I am toying with the idea of some rules for WW II era Superheroes to add to World at War...
Cool or uncool???

Cool. It's no more bizarre than zombie soldiers and walking tanks, after all :)

Sounds a little like the wonderful, if very silly, PC game from a few years ago: "Freedom Force Vs the Third Reich".

World at War: Back of Beyond is the Battlefield Evolution: World at War supplement covering the Interwar period armies of Central Asia!
The book includes new traits (Grenades, Weak AA) to give you the "interwar feel" and covers all the traits you need to play with the units of this book.
500_BoB_Cover.jpg

The following army lists are in this book:
The Army of British India
The Basmachi
The Bolsheviks
The Chinese Bandits
The Chinese Warlord Army
The Czech Legion
The Japanese
The Mad Baron's Army
The Mongolian Tribes
The Tibetans
The White Russians

Stats for the many vehicles such as Rolls-Royce Armoured Car, Lancaster 4x2 Armoured Car, Austin Armoured Car, Austin-Putilov Armoured Car, Austin-Kégresse Halftrack, Medium Mark C Tank, Vickers Medium Mk I Tank, Renault FT-17, Vickers Medium Mk II, Mk III and A1E1 Independent Tank are also included.
The "Larger than life Characters and eccentric Equipment" section introduces special characters for all the army lists to give you even more options. Beware - some of these characters are indeed larger than life, they extend the game into a pulpier setting, away from the historical one. You are getting rules to field an Aristocratic Adventurer, the Arms Dealer, the Artillery Officer, a retired Big Game Hunter, a Communist Demagogue, a European Spy, the Female Adventurer and Scholar, the Foreign Bodyguard and Mortar Supplier, German Mercenaries, the Heroic Scout, the Independent Journalist, Mongol Princess and Shaman, a Pilot Ace and even the Tibetan Lama with a Yeti!
