Unit Cards

Would there be any call for blank unit cards you could fill in yourself? With a pen and paper? A fillable PDF?

The idea of unit cards made sense when Mongoose were selling miniatures but with WaW there is no miniature range to package them with... So what format would people want their cards to be in?

Would you want all the rules for the traits on them or just the bare bones characteristics?

What size would you want them? A5? A6? credit card sized?

I'm just interested... thats all...

I have an excel spreadsheet that calculates the point costs of my units, and keeps track of the upgrades and such, is able to error check the force construction, and prints off a pretty army roster that shows the weapon and vehicle stats of the units I selected for the force.

A good friend of mine is an Excel guru and made it for me.

Before I used it, I had a page of data card like forms and I favored a format that showed the weapon and unit stats (all the crap I found myself continually having to look up) with vehicle stuff being the most common.

I always thought the old BF:Evo cards were too large, so A7? I'd prefer something with the stats and trait explanation, but without a photo. Maybe just a silhouette?

I made mine on 6"x4" photo paper due to failing eyesight and the size is readily available to me. These are however way to large with the number of units we now use. I would like them the same size as standard playing cards if you could fit in all the relevent information and they would fit nicely into CCG plastic sleeves for protection. Maybe a photo on one side and stas on the other.

Already had a stab at this - not my idea but borrowed from someone else's design and produced as an excel file so you can change whatever you want - text and pictures (it just happens to show a force I was using at the time)

Print out - fold in half and place in card sleeves

I modified the original just so I could use card sleeves - so much easier than a roster sheet and there is plenty of room to add traits and special rules
