The sensors available to ships are those listed in traveller page 108, and noted on the table on page 144 of CT. These can be used to gain information on objects out to the various range bands, as modified for the 2300 setting. (Light seconds per band etc.)
These same sensors have additonal effects when utilized in space combat. The various passive sensors (thermal, optical, EM and passive radar/lidar are the "passive sensors" in combat where they are used to not only detect and gather information but track other vessels for the formation of weapon firing solutions. Radar/Lidar also have an "active" setting which serves as the "active sensors" used on combat, with the increased range but also increased signature that comes with it.
In otherwords, Combat Sensors are the same sensors, just used in a different way, not an entirely different array of equipment or different technology altogether. Right?
