Traveller Generations

I started playing Traveller at the age 7 in 1977. I started role-playing before that with "Melee", "Wizard", and "In the Labyrinth".

Hmmm, someone else had those besides me (though in my case Melee, Treasure of Unicorn Gold and Wizard).

Ah, I remember those. The artist that did the covers certainly loved his air-brush! (mind you it could have been a fan-blender too)

Dont know if I can trump Munchkin, but I have the little white box TSR Empire of the Petal Throne.

But, woo hoo, Im prehistory!

I remember having to make 'twizlers' for D&D, (a piece of card with various numbers of sides, with a matchstick through the middle in place of dice).

Then, there was the blue polyhedrals you had to crayon in yerself.

You kids, you dont know what it was like in my day.

But, er, yeah, a TSR hexbook and yer own universe. Great days.

I play D&D on occasion where my dice are older then most of the players. Most didn't even know what I was talking about when I said they wheren't preinked (just the DM and one of the other players).

I have the original Dieties and Demigods from the very first set of D&D (pamphlet)...

When I got it, I looked it up on some sites that do valueing of old RPGs and it was only going for like $12... wow, guess people just don't understand history.

And I have one of those original blue dice you colored in, the d6... just don't have the rest or the crayon.
