Hello everyone,
As usual I tried searching the Traveller forum about the Software packages on page 92 and 113 and my search criteria was too broad. My reason for the search is to determine if the ratings of the programs on page 92 get the same apparent boost as the Ship Software programs on page 113 when installed on a ship's computer.
Looking at the Ship software the rating is a multiple of 5 times the program level. Jump Control/1 has a Rating ot 5 and Jump Control/2 has a Rating of 10.
Would installing the Computer Software on page 92 gain the same benefits if they are installed on a ship's computer?
As an example I install the page 92 Security Rating 2 program on a ship's computer and list the program as Security/2 Rating 10.
Are there other levels of the Maneuver program on page 113?
What determines the Cost of the Database programs listed on page 92?
Wouldn't the Security and Interface programs listed on page 92 be part of a ship's computer?
Why N/A for the cost of Intrusion/4 and not for Intellect/3+?
