Not dissing anyone; I just don't get where it's "fun"...
If you've ever played "HeroQuest" the GM is referred to as the "Evil Wizard Player" and his job is to send monsters after the players and TRY to kill them, LOL. Of course, that is a boardgame (and a damn fine one at that). In an RPG, trying to kill the party (rather than just challenge them) is a waste of everybody's time.
