The lost tales??? Centauri fighter

There are a multitude of different versions of ships in both ACTA and B5Wars, largely based on minor differences. Those "Vorchans" and "Sentris" from TLT are significantly different enough to warrant being a new class

would be nice if they represent an Advanced Technology platform, probably a better indication of what the Liati ought to look like.

That seriously looks like 2 omegas fighting way in the back there.

The one is close enough to see the spinning section move but the other appears to have the same general shape.

there's a clear tail and the classic stingray shape, it's a Primus

I just bought TLT so I can have a good look and get up to date on the background, history and blurb. I'd heard that its not very good, and had put off purchasing it for a while, but eventually I knew I'd have to get it.

Interesting as I never noticed the primus when I watched the youtube clip; nice to know the Republic isn't sending groups of vorchans in alone.

YAY!

:D

Is that a Balvarin on the right

just because it's a Centauri fighter and shows some similarities (and notable differences) with sentris, doesn't make it a sentri.
By that token the Challenger II MBT is the same as the Challenger I even though they have only 10% commonality in systems!

Be it different class or just different version, let's focus here people... On hounding MGP until they release a miniature

Always interested in new Centauri ships - have all the ones I want from the main range however as has been said many time sbefore - lets get models for all the ships in the fleet book before we bring out new models. :)

sorry what do you mean by the expanded universe :) - I was just talking about the number of ships (mothership, Neroon, Brivoki, war globe (?) etc) that are not out yet. :)

My bad. I thought there is a book called "Fleet Book".

But strictly speaking, everything not in the shows or movies is "expanded universe". So are most of our ships... So many ships, so hard to keep track and remember.

Thats very true, this is the way most SF Spacecraft games have gone...Starfleet battles started off with a few ships based on the Star Trek series and eventually had 1000's of variants by the time it got to Commanders rulebook level, B5W...followed the same course...with just the ships seen in the series....an then expanding out to basically support an increasing range of miniatures...which of course is where all the oney is. By the time AOG closed down there were hundreds of variants....some of this has been inherited by Mongoose...and some has been added in ACTA.

At least Mongoose have culled a few variants.....Vorchar, Vorchat, Centurion and Balvarian mods etc.

Personally I feel much happier playing with the iconic vessels seen in the series with a few selected additions...to round things out but that is my choice and usually results in me getting whipped by somebody using a balanced ACTA fleet. :-)
