The Dragons of Lencia

I quite agree with JB-Mongoose! I would be great to read one day the second issue!! Dragons of Lencia is a great novel.

Still no official work on either second book in the two Lone Wolf fiction series.

Thank you for asking; we'll certainly be eager to let folks know when that changes. :)

Fans of the Chronicles of Magnamund should ask each month "What about The Shadow and the Skull and Sand and Sorrow", maybe it could help to make start the official work ^^?

I really want to read the sequels of Dragons of Lencia and Glory and Greed!!

No way, don't tell me that I might never get the next 4 novels. I'm a Mega-Deal subscriber and it was said that I'll get all six novels for free with the 32 gamebooks. Now 4 years later, we learn that, well, we won't get the novels after all! I really hope you get to work on the next books soon.

I honestly wish I had better news. BUT I assure you we are keeping the pressure up and we'll let you know as soon as we have something.

Worst comes to worst, there are ways to make sure the novels see the light of day. :)

Who did the map of "The Dragons of Lencia" and did it got approved by Joe Dever?
Vanamor is spelled Vanan.
Westigar is spelled Westgar (which might be the correct spelling ;))
Westhaven and Loyton is placed different too.

Battle island and Hunn island missing

also in Eru there are 2 cities withouth names close to Danarg.. one I guess is Pirsi.. but the second?

Don't know about the other errors, but would the other city be Loumi? As in the Lorestone of Luomi? Oh and I think you mean the Hellswamp :)

Well I really hope the remaining 4 books come into bearing as the starting 2 were both really good. I remember we had a similiar thing with the Wing Commander books - "False Colours" was a great start to a trilogy that never happened, though to be fair the author unexpectedly died. Still, it's a great book and it would be a realy shame if the LW novels went the same way.

Only time will tell.

yes Hellswamp! how stupid of me to mention Danarg.
Doesn't look to be Luomi by place... on the map it is more south and closer to Hellswamp.
I also really hope the books comes out... sounds on August that he alrady written his book(s) so hopefully we can get those in one way or another... money isn't a problem for my part :) (I'm not THAT rich but never saved any money when it comes to Lone Wolf)

You would be correct. Books Two and Three are already written. :)

And yes, one way or another, they'll see the light of day. It was way too important a story for me to tell for you all not to get to read it.

Stay tuned,
-August

i wish Mr. Ford would visit the board more often though and let us know about the stage of advancement of his Lencian trilogy..... and perhaps Mr. Sprange could give us hints about why the release of the LW novel sequels are being delayed indefinitly, if it isn't too much to ask for

As of about two years ago, The Shadow and the Skull, sequel to The Dragons of Lencia, is about halfway completed. I won't be writing any more of it until we can get some decent distribution (and remuneration) sorted for the first book, since I'm not in the habit of writing books for free.

Anyone who's desperate to read more of my work should check this out in November: http://www.solarisbooks.com/titles/title_details/kultus?u386atvtpv79l5rva18vlifug7

well this certainly doesn't bode well for the LW readers, let us hope Mr. Sprange sets this matter as his next priority of business, rather than focus on the multiplayer books... novels are just as important, if not more

Hey, I'm happy to see that many peoples are now asking to read the sequels of the novels of the Chronicles of Magnamund! After all, they are an important part of the Megadeal. Let's hope that their production will start soon! Richard and August, good luck :D !

August, just to tell you that I used the ancient Avan-Telchos you created for Glory and Greed for my campaign, and my players loved it ^^. Now, I don't know whether it was "canon" material in my campaign, as I'm unsure of the fate of the magnificent city during the trilogy... I need to know, need to read Sand & Sorrow!!

Zorkaan,

I am glad to hear it went over so well! Feel free to post whatever you like about the campaign (that's one of the things this forum is all about, after all) and if I can offer advice or feedback, I'll be happy to do so.

And trust me, getting Sand and Sorrow into your hands is a priority of mine. :)

Oh, I guess it explains in part why the whole thing is on hold... :?

I think you're right about Loumi - perhaps a chance to have some extra adventures? Isn't the Dragons of Lencia set in the "future"? Maybe it's a new city.

Or even, god forbid, an error on the map!

Let us hope a good conclusion to the books is possible - totally sympathise with the two authors - and Mongoose as the deal may well have relied on the paperworks in mainstream stores which hasn't happend :-(

Maybe the new Hobbit films will spur them on - ideal time to link the two markets as the world of LW and the world of Middle Earth have a lot in common ...

Just thought I would post this about Mr Ford on his new book:

"Richard Ford originally hails from Leeds in the heartland of Yorkshire but now resides in Wiltshire, where he can now be found frolicking by the Thames, drinking cider and singing songs about combine harvesters."

Best write-up ever!
