Isn't it also said that not all members of the Anla'shok are authorized to carry a Denn'bok? Just something to think about - kind of a RP thing more so than anything else though.

I think you are correct on that one, in "To Dream in the City of Sorrows" Sinclair had to prove his worth to be trained in the Denn'bok, and he was to be Enthil'Za!

I think that a Pak'ma'ra Ranger would have some of the quickest fights, people would probably give up hoping to not be killed and eaten.

But as we have already mentioned, there is a difference between becoming a Ranger and being trained in the Denn'Bok
