Terra/Sol Games is pleased to announce that Six Guns Gauss Weapons by Martin Dougherty is now available from the One Book Shelf (DriveThroughRPG, RPGNOW etc.) family of sites. Six Guns is a 32 page PDF product selling for $3.99 and suitable for any Traveller game.

It worked. Also, I hate you. Now I have to buy every single Six Guns issue you produce because that is an awesome product if you like gun options. Completely compatible with the 3I, it details gauss weapons in a manner that makes them far more interesting than pistol/carbine/rifle in the base book and provides more details than even the CSC.

I now humbly request that you and MJD write a Six Guns on the following topics:

1. Lasers
2. Plasma/fusion weapons
3. "advanced combat" firearms (TL10+) especially electrothermal handguns. (aka electrochemical depending on preferred terminology)
4. Missiles and rockets and grenades

GREAT PRODUCT. Completely worth every penny of my $3.99.

I've found a few confusing bits that don't make sense, such as the APHE round rules on page 27. It says they do +2 damage per die that penetrates armor, but that doesn't make sense in MGT rules.

Can you clarify that, T/S guys?

Interesting...does it come with covers? I would rather buy a compilation of these rather than just single one shots. Even if they do number something like 30 pages pages - not really into gun porn.

I like it because it has very thoughtful rules. It's not merely gun porn. But the illos are very nice!

But it does still have a *little* gun porn, right? ;)

The preview looks quite interesting. Once I get my hobby fund recharged, I'll grab a copy!

Here's hoping the next release is laser weapons!

Apoc, working on an answer for you.

By the way Six Guns won't always be just guns. It's kind of a six things type publication but Six Guns sounds better than six things. But rest assured there will be a lot more guns, equipment and even organizations that will be covered.

While with T/S I originally had the assignment of editing this product. Martin's work was, as always, great and I love his sense of humor. I will miss having the opportunity work more with Martin's creativity but that is how life goes.

I wrote that a while ago, so I'm not 100% certain what exactly it said, but IIRC the idea is that if you penetrate armour you get +2 on each die of damage. ie the +2 doesn't help you penetrate, but it applies if you do.

Or... if your normally-rolled damage is stopped by armour, the extra damage is not applied.
