Technical Problems at Spica and SFRPG boards

EDG

Mongoose
Sorry for posting this here, just wanted to let people know that some unknown technical glitch has hit both the Spica and SFRPG boards and people can't access them right now (well, they can, but they're not going to be able to get anywhere useful as the links keep redirecting them and claiming that the forums don't exist). I'm investigating the problem, but right now I'm suspecting that the server they're both hosted on has gone screwy and buggered up the databases. :(

Hopefully things can be recovered, but I don't think they're going to be accessible for at least the next 24 hours (possibly longer). I'll keep people posted.

The Spica and SFRPG boards are now back up and both appear to be working normally again.

Thanks to all our members for your patience whilst we dealt with this.

BTW: Teh Hivor had nothing to do with *any* of this. Srsly: I didn't touch a thing - last time I stuck a screwdriver in the back and twiddled it about I managed to make the whole of SFRPG disappear completely. I learned my lesson well on that occassion...

Hello everyone,

As some of you already know, the SFRPG.org.uk boards are down again today. I have contacted the hosting company and they are looking at the problem. The problem affects a server owned by the company and affects a whole group of databases. I will update this post as soon as I learn more.

Thanks for your patience.

Best wishes

John
