Tarsh ?

So I remember the region of Tarsh from Heroquest, but its nowhere to be found in Glorantha the second age. Was it called something else back then, and whats the story behind it changing names ?

Kingdom of Tarsh, kind of gets named by Arim the Pauper when he leads his folk south and resettles in the North of Dragon Pass after the Dragon Kill.
So it doesn't exist as a Kingdom till the start of the Third age... as far as I can remember.

Reading the unspoken word stuff (which is great by the way), it is called something else but I'm to lazy to find out what.

We'll have no rude words here!
 :D

The Orlanthi do move back into areas cleared by the Dragon kill.

It is the Kingdom of Tarsh so the area was 'named' after the kingdom not the other way round.

At this point it is the Kingdom of Saird, which covers much of Orlanthi Peloria.

I think you'll find most of it on the Dragon Lands map (p.106), as Lastragortelli, Gosland, and Stravuliland.

I think the fact that these are no longer Dragon Lands in the Third Age may hint at why Tarsh ends up with a different name...
