Tank rules

Tanks are proving to be very useful at dislodging infantry behind cover. The extra oomph of the main gun can just punch straight through any intervening terrain (PLA dug in - to hit 6+ (which is effectivly a kill as they have no armour), Challenger 2 main gun d10+2 - nice), and the the extra dice help to clean out the room if there is no extra cover between the now-a-pink-mist-target and his closest friends... Killed me two PLA fireteams with two shots (in subsequent turns) this way.

Of course, the preponderance of PLA rocket launchers did provide a few worrying moments. Urban terrain does allow for troops to get into elevated positions, which can negate some of that lovely cover you're in - I lost my Challenger 2 to a rocket more or less fired straight down onto the turret deck from a nearby tower.

As Dorward's mate Jim said in our game:

"Let's park the 99 in that suspiciously tank shaped space of cover  "

It was a good plan. Not entirely successful, but a good'un none the less.

Yeah, that was the tank we lost wasn't it. But a Challenger in the same situation can't be killed outright.

The best line of the game:

Me & Jim : "We got your tank, haha!"
Dorward & Pete : "We got your tank first!"
Me & Jim : "Yeah but we still have a tank left, :P "

Very reminiscent of Red Dwarf (But I lied twice!)
