The Sword Worlds Army rank table on P7 looks messed up. Officer and NCO ranks have been swapped around as well as some duplicated and some missing. Looking at the Norwegian rank system (on which it looks like its been based) for now I'm going to go with...

Sword World naval traditions hark back to the navy of the Sacnoth Dominate. Sacnoth was settled by a disproportionate number of Jaegers, the German-speaking ethnic group descended from the original German army unit. Hence the ranks have German names.
