Mongoose
Hello all this more directed at any mongoose staff who may still frequent this part of the forum, but i was wondering if there has been any atempt to look at re-negotiating the babylon 5 lisence for the game with warner bros now that it's been a while down the track or are they just too intractable and/or demanding too much?

Just curious because i loved all the new things that where starting to come with the models for acta and would love to see some thing else done along those lines...

If any fans know of any rumours of other companies looking at trying to pick up a lisence for this sort of thing feel free to jump in...

Like your sentiment, but I have no doubt that official Babylon 5 is very much a RIP case.

[Well unitl Hollywood make the reimagined blockbuster say in 20 - 25 years from now ................ not likely].

Hey, everything else from a decade or two is getting redone as of late -
We’ve had a new Star Wars trilogy, a new Battlestar Galactica, V is being redone, Tron is seeing the big screen again, New Terminator movies, G.I. Joe and I’m sure I missed some. Maybe in 10-20 years, when we are all grown up and there is some big name director who was influenced by Babylon 5, then we might see are revisioning of the show or even something on the big screen

You could be right but I am guessing JMS still has a say and I can't quite see him stepping aside in the medium term but hey who knows.

& BTW, personally speaking, grew up a long time ago,(missus might disagree tho), in fact if it takes too long then chances are I definitely won't see it :P
