Strontium Dog and Bounties and Warrants release dates?

This is probably a little premature, but are there any rough estimates for the release dates for these books? Will Bounties and Warrants appear concurrently with the core rules?

I'm trying to line my pre-orders up and would appreciate any information you can provide. To say I'm eager to grab these books is a little like saying Wulf likes his cucumbers - The Galaxy's Greatest Understatement! :)

You mean less rough than 'next month'?

LBH
Yes, less rough than that. :) Rough like Impetigo Jones' nose, not rougher like Middenface's lumps. ;)

I'd be happy to hear if they'll appear in the middle of the month or closer to November and if there's much of a gap between the two releases.

Having had a chance to playtest it at the Traveller Open day .. I too am looking forward to this :) <Chirp>

I'm insanely jealous.

Are you able to spill any beans? I'd love to hear about your session. What was your stront like? Any cool mutations?

Upper body of a hawk... with arms... ocassionally he would <chirp> much to the constination of the gamesmaster, he could fly. The system felt balanced, but, we didn't get into the character genreration aspect as the characters were all pre-rolled... fought some wiazrds ,,, magic vs HEAP shotgun round ... shoutgun tends to win... but, you have to shoot the right thing... it also helped we did the scenario in the "wrong order" and went after the head honcho before he had a chance to absorb the powers of the other bounties :)

Lots of possibilities in it for mutations, some can end up rather bizarre.

Could have taken a bit of time to do the character generation by the time you run through the whole group. Doesn't have all the career choices and such from the regular Traveller, like Judge Dredd in that aspect you only have one choice. But then you get all the mutation possibilities.

Strontium Dog tends to use sorcerers not wizards.

Dude... I was just a Stront with a shotgun and a habit for trill ... to be fair the dudes we took down didn't look like harry potter :)

I understood why Chargen wasn't part of the session it would have taken ages, but, there is a lot of "feel" for the game engine and the universe in chargen. I thought it reasonable to note I hadn't had a chance to experience it :)

Was reasonable I just elaborated a bit on that process.

The rulebook is likely to appear towards the end of October, but Bounties & Warrants may lap a week or two into November, due to a couple of unforeseen delays.

I could deal with getting my hands on Strontium Dog around halloween. Gives me the book in time for doing Demo's for it at the small Winter Con's.

Cool, now I understand all your chirping! I thought you were either invoking crickets or had lost your mind. :)

Sounds like your birdman had a blast with that shotgun, but somebody should tell him muties just weren't made to fly! ;)

Cheers, Matt! I've put my preorders in accordingly. :)
