Storage Suggestions

I'm looking for suggestions on storage. I like the Kaiser Rushforth cases, but they get a bit steep with the exchange rate. What are you guys using that's reasonably priced?

These models are exceptionally durable. I have heard reports (don't quote me!) of one of our demo guys 'accidentally' finding out that they are, in fact, machine-washable. . .

shove um in a box, shove um in a bag, either way there good enouth to last ;)

these prepaints are gonna save gamers a fortune.

I ordered a DElux Skirmish pack for my SST armies. he is one hell of a stand up guy. cases are beautiful too.

I'll second Charon packs, they are practically bulletproof.

same here but totaly pointless waist for bfevo

if you do have a charon case, just chuck all the foam out and shove the minis in the case, and your good to go with more storage.

these figs are not going to scratch, may daughter has the M1A2 as a toy and is giving it a good 7 year old child beating, so far nothing broken and no scratches, im impresed.

There's some affordable hard cardboard and foam minis boxes being sold. Around $12-17 each and has about as much capacity as a normal case of the size, for half the cost.

I can't remember who sold them. But I plan to use them for my BFE figures, more to keep things organized than to keep them from being harmed.

They're not AS durable as the prepainted D&D minis or Mageknight figs (which are neigh indestructable) :?

- but any box w/ a little padding will do well - a fishing tackle box & some packing foam or bubble wrap will be more than sufficient

- of course you could use the gamer standard -foam lined pistol cases - or spring for any of the dozen gaming figure specific cases - but be prepared to PAY for those puppies :x :x

Yeah Id suggest a bit of packaging just for the mental purposes of putting miniatures into a box with no form of support! Small things could break off (ends of guns I imagine).

It's not about damage to the minis, it's about damage to the case! Mine was subjected to the tender cares of British Arways luggage handling and emerged unscathed - that's quality for you :D

And I don't care how rugged they are, miniatures should travel in style. It's bad luck to just chuck them in a box and have them rattle around. Show a little respect man! Not that I'm superstitious - not me sir, every monkey knows it's bad luck to be superstitious.

That does indeed speak volumes as to the durability.

You're not talking aout Kaiser Rushforth are you? Those around 24 pounds a pop. THat gets high with the exchange rate. I gotta stop screwing around and move over there already! Now that you guys have some decent TV, I think I'd love it. :D
