Stats for an APC? with link to picture

Not bad, but I have to admit that the "Emergency Combat Ejection" sounds very Power Ranger-ish to me. Images of the roof popping open and the troops flying out of the top...

Other than that, looks good.

Maybe he was thinking more in terms of BF 2142 perhaps .

Wasn't thinking about either Power Rangers, nor BF 2142 hehe

Just thought that they would be strapped in as in a drop pod (they are Cap Troopers after all)

Just an idea I was playing with.

L-Bug is doing a conversion for putting his orks against my MI.

came up with the following rule

Green fungus invasion:

If an ork is killed (rolling the kill score) by anything other than a weapon with the flame trait, he reverts to a fungus state and spreads open over the battlefield. If left unchecked new orks will arise from the fungus of a dead ork.
Any ork killed this way doesn't count towards the fact if a squad is at half strength or not.

example: ork squad of 20 orks. you lose 11 orks (5 to morita fire rolling a target, 3 to a flamer rolling a kill, 3 to a triple thud (2 kills, 1 target)
to see if the squad is below half strength you only have to add up 5 + 3 + 1 = 9
the 2 others spread their fungus on the battlefield to spawn new orklings to fight another day

It's mostly just for fun, but this could also work

I haven't bought this, but have played the earlier games of the BF series. About half way though this video you'll see what I mean regarding APC options.

I can see the similarities.

But it's just something I came up <ith because I don't have a mot of occasions to game at the moment.

The background for BF 2142 looks interesting though.

I believe you when you say you didn't know about BF 2142 :). You can see how I could have thought it possible that you did know, when the APC looks like the PC game version AND of you describing how the troops disembarked. You're not a PC game designer, perhaps?

believe me, not a pc games designer at all.
I'm rather a computer idiot (I'm happy I can achieve to post on a forum, oke it's not that bad :D )

What does happen all the time is me thinking up things and finding out later somebody thought it up before me and gets realeased in a manner of speaking just after my initial thought.

So you could say I with my time, but always a little late (my wife tells me quite often the same about me :D )

To me it was a logical stream of thought.
Capsuled Troopers - Drop suits - Ejection suits

Thank you for the kind comments Buships

Coincidence is always fun :) . I gotta move at the end of the month(or so), and man am I not trusting my miniatures to get put in storage, the way the boxes get handled by the posse of friends of my parents scares me, infact I had to repait a peice of city terrain last time. BF 2142 looks like it could be of some use for inspiration.

Oh and I just noticed that cthulutech(don't tell me it's spelled wrong, I always forget how to spell it anyways) book is out  .

It's spelled wrong. :P

Just kidding, no idea actually. Good to hear it's out though. Looks to be a pretty interesting take on a classic theme.

Yeah I had to have a look-see, as I always found the cthulhu to be really cool in a macabre way :)
