And remember, corruption is defined by culture...True but some good old corruption and noble nepotism is okay.![]()
To a degree, perhaps. And remember, corruption is defined by culture...
Let's ask Heinlein:To a degree, perhaps.
But you haven't learned yet that when in Rome, you shoot Roman candles. Every tribe has its customs and what is moral one place is immoral somewhere else. There are races where a son's first duty is to kill off his old man and serve him up as a feast as soon as he is old enough to swing it - civilized races too.
I think you are confusing Corruption with Immorality. You can be Immoral, but not Corrupt. Corruption is a violation of your society's moral and ethical codes. What is "considered" moral or immoral is not relevent. All that is needed for something to be Corrupt is to violate societal agreements. That can occur in both moral and immoral societies.Let's ask Heinlein:
I’ll stand by what I said.Let's ask Heinlein:
? LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!Well, change the question then (?) because that is the answer.
Not changed the rules but put out a product so bad it was unusable. It was a person who was really high on LSD produced the final printed product. Whole groups of people who were buying and playing Traveller stopped doing so because of that.Traveller sales declined after Megatraveller changed it?
You're not making a valid point - that is the point. Anyway, enjoy the ignored status.? LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was a person who was really high on LSD
Also, the suggestion of getting a Traveller: Star Wars license isn’t just a trite request for a popular setting to be adapted (it is that too, of course!). It is, symbolically a statement of intent from Mongoose that they can reach out to a much, much larger audience and potentially, a massively increased market for the Traveller brand as a whole by association. It would be saying, in effect, that Traveller is practically as ‘big' as D&D.
The fact that they both share the same 50th Anniversary is also a boon. The modern Traveller system can easily handle the setting (as has been shown with unofficial fan versions) and I don’t believe any other company is really doing anything with Star Wars roleplaying currently.
He is very possibly the most arrogant and unpleasant person on this forum and, given how the rest of us treat each other, he is competing in a very strong field, there.I have been respectful and on point throughout this conversation. You have been snide, dismissive, and disrespectful.
So fuck you and your point of view. I no longer feel you have any intelligent opinions on anything.
Fuck off and have a nice day.
THANK YOU for putting me on ignore! God, what a relief. You're not making a valid point - that is the point. Anyway, enjoy the ignored status.
I found my ignore list. I encourage people to use it. Saves having to deal with pedants who think you can’t change a game to your taste.THANK YOU for putting me on ignore! God, what a relief.
I've never understood that mindset. Fun is priority of games not fossilization.I found my ignore list. I encourage people to use it. Saves having to deal with pedants who think you can’t change a game to your taste.
There was, possibly still is, a Traveller CCG... don't you own it? Nope, me neither which shows how much a CCG is to Traveller marketing
Honestly I’d never thought of it before but instantaneous travel might make the cut.I've never understood that mindset. Fun is priority of games not fossilization.
There was… I backed the Kickstarter and was super-psyched…One option, that would take away too many resources, and considering the requisite artwork requirements, is to have a Collectible Card Game offshoot.
