State of the Mongoose 2025

Also, the suggestion of getting a Traveller: Star Wars license isn’t just a trite request for a popular setting to be adapted (it is that too, of course!). It is, symbolically a statement of intent from Mongoose that they can reach out to a much, much larger audience and potentially, a massively increased market for the Traveller brand as a whole by association. It would be saying, in effect, that Traveller is practically as ‘big' as D&D.

The fact that they both share the same 50th Anniversary is also a boon. The modern Traveller system can easily handle the setting (as has been shown with unofficial fan versions) and I don’t believe any other company is really doing anything with Star Wars roleplaying currently.

Let's ask Heinlein:
I think you are confusing Corruption with Immorality. You can be Immoral, but not Corrupt. Corruption is a violation of your society's moral and ethical codes. What is "considered" moral or immoral is not relevent. All that is needed for something to be Corrupt is to violate societal agreements. That can occur in both moral and immoral societies.
