yes but why not release the aircraft this year you will make many customers very happy

We could - but they would not be of the standard we know is now possible. So, do we release something 'okay' now, or wait just a few months and release something that is out of this world?

Put another way. We could release a multi-part kit of the type you are familiar for X Dollars. How would you feel if, a few months after, we released a model that was of better quality _and_ pre-painted that cost less than X?

wheres the problem to produce a kit?

at the beginning of 2006 i see the first picture of the master from the Skyhook model! I Really like the thought of building (and painting) a diorama with this Model!

Then i saw the first picture on your Site (about 2 months ago) and i was really really happy, that i can realise my dreams soon!

And now: i Have to Wait 8-10 Months, and the Only Thing is buy a Toy like this one http://www.wizards.com/global/images/starwars_article_AttackOnEndor_pic1_en.jpg

Sorry, but this make no sense to me!

PLEASE release this Kit this year, and you will see how successfull this will be!

In answer to your question: because it costs an awful lot of money and takes an awfully long time to produce a kit like that. If we started right now, the pre-painted models would still appear first in the stores.

As to your point, there will be a noticeable difference between those models and what you will see next year. They most certainly will not be toys - you won't want your kids to play with them in the sand pit!

percisely a person like me who wants the kits out this year

But are not going to get inferior quality kit when better one is few months later coming. So maybe good time to rest the case? It doesn't magically appear if you make 1000 posts about the subject within day

ok ive accepted its not going to happen sorry 4 bothering u everyone with ma boring aircraft talk but if its not out in 8 months ill be on here posting alot of posts

you shoudl probably wait until the release schedule is posted. Matt's said aircraft are a priority, but there's a lot of other base troops to release for the MI - I can't see them coming out before PA troopers and maybe the base Marauders.

I'd like them out this year, I can understand the issues. MGP has been suffering a lot of critiscsm from the community lately, they need good minis to get brought out. The lionger spent, the better. Plastics also cost a lot to release, so releasing one now, then another some other time would be stupid. It will all pan out, don't worry.

please post pics or something else!

"you don't have a toy, you will have the best thing, and the Quality is awesome,....." makes no sense to me!

Sorry, but i can not imagine what you will make for about 50 Dollars?

the Perfect model/toy/or what else ? i Do not think so!

Okay, I have read the first page in depth. The skinnies, I cannot wait for. its a royal pain in the arse that I have alreay bought so many of the current ones. But, what are you gonna do eh. I would love to get a venerable marauder soon, but again, meh. Also the brutes, the greens looked so nice. I wish everyone else could have seen them. I guess my skinnie army will become worth a LOT of money at some point.

80 god damn raiders

A fair point, and one I somewhat agree with - after all, on my modelling table right now is a growing 15mm Soviet WWII army. So, how do square this away with my own hobby?

Consider how many unpainted models the typical gamer has lying around. Boxes and boxes of them. Perhaps enough to last a life time of modelling? The chance to get hold of models and just start playing immediatly is an attractive one.

I'm doing 15mm Soviets as well. Thing is Matt, I need a favor. If you are going to be putting out WWII stuff for this range, let me know. It's tough to paint with a 2 year old running around and another on the way any day! I wouldn't even try to paint anymore if these sounded like a seriously possible thing. Mix this with the talk of terrain, and I'm dead sold!

While you're this far, you should put those factories to work on 1:3000 scle ships for Victory at Sea! :D

Any chances you will be looking into different scales? Sounds like these 2 games are 28-32mm for now.
