Stargate ACTA conversion

what about the replacators???

The only thing that I would suggest for a Replicator fleet would be:

Adaptive Armor, Self-Repairing and having some sort of special rules for Breaching Pods and Boarding Actions (perhaps the same rules that the Gaim enjoy today). As a campaign rule, they should be able to salvage enemy ships that are captured or de-crewed, only to add that ship to their existing fleet (I recall a very specific episode or two where the Replicators take over a Gou-auld (sp?) ship).

Beyond that, I don't recall enough of the ship to ship battles between the Vree-esk fleets and Replicator fleets to offer much more than that.

Great ideas :D

I'm just thinking about replacing the Beams with Mini-Beams, what looks quite logical after I have seen the battle of Asuras and the super gate last night again.

Has anyone tried putting these against B5 fleets yet? I'm going to try it this week. Just curious what other people thought if they had done it yet.

I never intended to use the SG ships against the classic B5 ships, as I designed the stats so that splitting points down is no longer favourable.

That sounds good for the first Replicators - perhaps Adaptive Shielding as well /instead ? The Asuran Replicators use Auroa class ships and have nasty Satelite defense / offense weapons............

The first Replicators do ideed use breeching torpedoes comprised of replicators and are immune to Gou'ald/Asgard personel weapons - not Earths (more primative!) - not sure about Ori - but its energy based so probably immune.

Now theres a scary beam weapon. Couldn't that satelite basically fire one endless beam through an open wormhole?

So, please read: Hive Ship revision 1

* The Hive Ship transport so many Wraith, that they make a crew score irrelevant as they transport a whole Hive.
** Each Hive Ship transports a certain number of Wraith Cruisers through Hyper Space. They start the game onboard the Hive ship and may be launched at a rate of 1 cruister per turn.
Please note, I wanted to stay true to the wraith weapons, but having e-pulses with 50+ AD did not work. So I overall reduced AD and compensated with dd and tl.

So, please your thoughts (this incarnation of the hive ship has not been approved by now)

The Hugh Hangar holds 1 Wraith Cruiser for which must not be paid. However, it must be launched during the first turn and may not start the game on the gaming table.

Hi bondp99

Have played a few games now, and I can honestly say, they're great!
Any plans for the Ancients and Replicators (new and ancient)...

Keep up the great wok guys... and thankyou!

@ atreyeux: please delete your link to that shop or this whole topic will be deleted by the moderators! MGP is very unhappy with links to other mini distributors...

PS: I know this shop and own some nice stargate ships

The Ancient ships (Aurora class and Puddle Jumper) are included in the Earth Fleet List and I think there's no need of a seperate fleet list for them.
The Replicators (Milkyway and Pegasus Galaxy) are on the "to-do-list" but in first place we want to balance the conversion.

Chris does a nice range of Stargate ships including Earth(Tau'ri...:)), Goauld and recently Ori, and I believe more on the way.

Whoops!Sorry...:)

What is the secret to downloading the files? I've tried for the past week, and can't seem to get the download link to work.

I know it's a silly question, but I'd really like to try it out with my gaming group.

After you got to the download page:

http://www.4shared.com/file/38004760/30ededa5/Stargate_ACTA_v03.html?

you have to wait for a short while until a small button called "Download"
