Star Trek Using Traveller?

I know (That's why I used farm planets and seeds not mills and grain). But a Replicator society does not need that stuff. Most people in TNE/DS9 don't eat "real food" so why should they do in TOS if Replicators are availabel.

In the TOS, they didn't have matter replicators. They had food processors that output food manufactured from base stock. The seeds in the bins at that space station were for a planet to gorow its own food.

If you recall the episode where Kirk was kidnapped and placed on a fake Enterprise on that overpopulated planet he said to that lady that the enterprise had enough food for 300 crew a few years...
