Ditto on SVCs health.
I hope to order my ACTA:SF Rulebook and Federation and Klingon Fleet boxes on 5/3/12.
Would like to order Romulans too but The War Store has it as a preorder for summer release.
Two outa three, guess I'll live with that. No choice really.

Any word on when the PDF might be approved by ADB? Just curious. I would really like to have a PDF copy of the rules for my tablet.

All the bits and pieces have come back to us now, and we just need to put everything together. We are going to try to get it done tomorrow, more likely Monday, a quick look over by ADB, and then we will be up and running!

considering how steve comments on Matt when stuff is delayed. I think Matt has been nicely restrained whilst waiting for ADB on this occasion.

i am not aware of any issues between the 2 of them. they both have a lot going on and the fact that they are on opposite sides of the atlantic can cause delays. remember this is not the only game that either of them have. i am sure both are trying to maintain their production schedules for all of their games while trying to accomplish something almost unheard of in the gaming industry.

Currently SVC and Matthew are communicating well and are trying to make sure that the errata this time will be totally correct and address all of the issues. As noted, both SVC and Matthew have a lot on their plates at the moment (including ADB releasing an updated Tournament book for SFB, seeing Romulans PD20M in print finally, and handling the flow of information on the completely new game Star Fleet Marines: Assault and that is added to SVC trying to get things ready for me to arrive on Sunday) and are working steadily at getting the errata done, including sending it out for review by outside eyes.

I'll also chime in with this - I'm happy for it to be released in June if it means more people have had a chance to go over it.

Another errata before the release of the pdf? I suppose if its needed that's a good thing, though I don't really know what needs fixing right now, but it makes sense. Why release a pdf rulebook you'll need to update in a week or two when you release the next pdf.

Duh! why release a pdf if you won't change it every time you come out with an errata. I'm just saying they don't want to release a PDF, and then have to release a new PDF a few days later once they release an errata.

We are basically all good to go, just need to do some donkey work - first the reference cards, then the pocket book for the Kzinti and Gorn fleet sets, and finally the core book as a PDF.

Likely a week or so, give or take.

I take it from what you say Matt, the mini rules in the fleet boxes will be upto date editions :?: - most excellent if so (though i still think that blob in the distance that is a Gorn fleet maybe going the roundabout route).

And are you down to attend 'Attack' in July this year ?, if so i think i might need 'a few' :? more ships by then 8)
