Star Fleet Reference Cards

Mongoose
Having received notice my Gorn Fleet Box has shipped, the only long term order I have outstanding are the reference cards which have been on order since March.

Any idea where these stand?

You want the files for the player ship cards I used at the convention instead? I suspect that the very long delay has killed many player's desire to buy ship cards, and forced them to come up with their own.

I've been using a nice fleet program that works but the cards would be great for generic fast games but mostly I want to know whether to ask for a refund or if I'll ever see them.

He's an aspiring Manga ka, so it should be quite interesting, just need to ask him when he has some time free before someone else gets another commission in :P
Plus would need to write up fluff for each of my sargeants/sorcerers as well..

Just to let you all know with regards the status of these cards...

They are currently with ADB for a final review, but it is my understanding that ADB is dealing with some bad news at the moment (of a personal nature, not business), so they may be a little time in getting back to us. However, we are ready to start getting these into people's hands as soon aswe get the green light.

If anyone needs reference ships, I have a whole set made for the Feds, Klingons, Romulans, Tholians, Orion, Gorn, and Kzinti (including all variants). Just send me a PM with your email address and I'll email them to you. I've sent these out to quite a few people already and I think I got most of the bugs out. I just ask for people to email me if they see an error.

I'm working on my own ship cards. They are kind of on version 3, and I have done up all the Federation, Klingon and Tholian ships. I'm part way through Romulans and Kzinti.

I'll share these when I am complete. Here's a sample.

My goal has been to make it so that most of the time you only have to dot the ship with a marker. I cut page protectors in half (so that there are two binder holes remaining for storage) and keep the sheets in those. I'm using dry erase markers with eraser heads on them.

There are check boxes for marking all the types of critical damage such as -1 to weapons, or CQ9 or +1 to Dilithium Critical.

The latest changes were colour coding the weapons, adding 5 point decrements to Maximum shields for critical damages, colour coding shield boxes and adding negative damage for potential explosions.

So far all my friends are finding the sheets invaluable to speed game play.

If you want to see what it looks like, here's an image of an older version that I posted on boardgamegeek.

Its very similar to Red-24 sheets too.

Jon Woodland - Nice Cards. Shouldn't the second Crew Crit location be shaded for Escalation as well?
Damn your eagle eyes! Everyone of my cards is wrong now. I was living in ignorant bliss...

Oh well. On to version 3.1. ;-)

I know THAT feel. Not just with my reference cards, but other gaming documents I do. I read through them a million times, everything looks fine, then suddenly on readthrough one million and one I notice one type on page 47 that requires me to fix it, update all the files, re-upload online, re-print out, etc. ARGH!

So, I don't suppose it's likely i'll be picking up a set of reference cards at Dragonmeet tomorrow, then :?
