Oooh, tempted by this, especially since I missed out on the preorderof hard copy CB1. Will need to see how much I spend at my mate's wedding this weekend to see if I can afford it or not.

Quick question, in the intro in the CB2 preview it makes mention to possible references to ACER, now AFAIK that hasn't been released yet.

When will it be, and will there be a similar pdf + deadtree offer for it?

Cheers

Soon, young padawan, soon ;)

Difficult to see, the future is, always in motion, it is.

More than likely ;) :D

Interesting. If not for PCs, but a good careers for important NPCs.

The one question I have is the mystic warrior a real world kung fu fighting type or a "jedi"-like career?

Ok I just bought book 2, and I also own book 1 as well too. Nice books to add to my ever growing Traveller collection.

Take it somewhere that has a bigger printer? Or break it into parts?

I've put the PDF on my wishlist at DTRPG, but am thinking about going for the package deal. However... there doesn't seem to be a way for me to get the hardcopy of CB1, and that will influence my final decision as to which way to go... so how can I get CB1 in DTF (I already have it in PDF, so don't need a 'package deal')?

How does one do that for printing purposes?

LBH

Not sure what they look like so can't get specific. But maybe you could break it down by deck or just pick a point halfway or something and split the deck in half if need be.

Easier if you have a bitmap or vector image already of it but if PDF one could do a screen capture to make a bitmap image.

Or just rescale it to fit on the smaller page.

I seem to recall encountering programs that could take oversize printouts and break them up into panels that could then be assembled. The good ones also provided some overlap, and addressed the issue of unprintable areas on older sheet-fed printers.

Rescaling isn't always an option, especially if the reason for printing them out is to be able to run a miniatures scenario on them.

That is one kick-a$$ cover! Mongoose, please take note!

The cover itself has sold me, but I'll hold off purchasing the pdf until drivethrurpg have one of their discount days. After all, I just spent £100 on Mongtrav books so my credit card is feeling a bit warm at the moment.

Nah, no need to take notes I think the basic black is a good look.

Just give it a nice cold shower, that'll cool it down.

I know, but since I already have the pdf it hardly seems wort hit.

But so long as the pdf plus dead tree combos keep coming I'm likely to keep buying hard copy.

The shiny dice are just a bonus.
