There a couple of skill buffing spells in the Core Rules (Shimmer, Thunder Voice and Cover of Night) and I was thinking of getting a sorting out a full list for the Basic Skills set.
I'm in a "logical" mood rather than a flowery one so I've not attempted to give names to the Skill Buff Spells. I've tried to marry up Runes to basic skills. I've tried to spread them around a number of Runes for game balance too. Also not all skills buffs are equal so some get only +5% and others get +10% also for game balance.
Casting Time 1; Duration 5; Magnitude 1, Progressive, Touch
Skill Bonus Rune
Acrobatics +10% Harmony
Athletics +10% Motion
Boating +10% Water
Dodge +5% Illusion (Shimmer)
Driving +10% Beast
Evaluate +10% Trade
First Aid +10% Man
Influence +10% Mastery (Thunder Voice)
Lore-Animal +5% Law and Beast
Lore-Plant +5% Law and Plant
Lore-World +5% Law and (Earth or Man or Water or Air or Trade)
Perception +10% Truth
Persistence +5% Spirit
Resilience +5% Earth
Riding +10% Beast
Sing +10% Communication
Slight +10% Disorder
Stealth +10% Darkness(Cover of Night)
Throwing +5% Air
Maybe for Lore-World the bonus would only be given for related matters for the second rune.
Anyway if folks want to take a pop at naming the spells, which I guess would have different names across the world/cultures anyway.
