Seperate minis for the White Star and White Star 2????

Liking the results.

One thing I pondered today, if the WS and WSC-2 are to get seperate minis then the existing mini should remain as the one used for the WS, it has been sold as such for a couple of years now and so should remain so.

Nothing worse than all the ISA players with WS heavy fleets having to go out and buy new minis because the existing one is now a WSC-2 that they rarely use.

Obviously those that use the existing minis for WSC-2s will be unhappy at this, which is why I voted stay as is, but if you are going to make a new mini give it to the WSC-2.

As you just said - a new model may be slightly bigger with missiles but really the same design.

you left one choice out LBH, new design but same size as current whitestar, thats my pick. maybe a bit fancier or some missile tubes but the size should be the same cos its just upgraded whitestar.

Well I should have given an other choice, but I don't know if editing the poll will lose the votes.

I didn't consider same size options, it would have made too many options for one thing, but mainly I got the impression Matthew wanted there to be a size difference in the minis when I talked to him.

Personally I would like to see a new WS that isn't so fiddley to get the bridge to attach to.

However I can understand the concern of those who have already bought White Stars already. Though we can be sure Mongoose won't outlaw the existing ones.

I also like the idea of same size and design but with some missile racks. And they were Drazi when the Demos opened fire, not rented ships, it's quite clear

Well, I would like to keep the current WSs just the way they are. Personal coversions are as far as you need to go.

No reason to trouble MP with another potentially bad model. I woul rather take 40K pices and put them on either wing (the flat part above the "engines") and do it to the top and/or bottom.

Maybe I will do it if the make the WS-C whorth taking...

production troubles asside, why not just change the regular WS kits to include an optional, add-on or 2 that allows the kit to be either a WS or a Heavy WS?

if not that then i vote no change, it's not that hard to paint your heavies differently from your normal WSs.
